I made lots of new friends and discovered all sorts of new music that I never knew existed. I can write my own songs and record them with my friends on my computer and upload them to my Bebo page – it’s brilliant!

Guitar Made Easy was a huge whirlwind tour of chords, strums, tuning, sore fingers, singing and fun in front of a variety of strangers all of whom thoroughly enjoyed every single class. Highly recommended!

I’ve learned more in 10 weeks of guitar classes than I learned in 7 years of piano lessons – I’d forgotten what it was like to play music for the sheer fun of it! Turns out I’m not tone deaf or a complete idiot after all!

Since I was a kid, I’ve always wanted to play guitar, but I only recently got the chance to learn and I’ve enjoyed it immensely. I met a few guys my age at the class – we call ourselves The Golden Oldies!

Guitar Made Easy is a concise and structured course. Having learned
the basics alone, I found learning in a group to be very beneficial. Any guitarists or beginners would gain from the wealth of knowledge and experience that Kevin has to offer.

Fast, fun and friendly! – Wednesday nights will be lacking something when the lessons finish. Kevin creates an atmosphere which is relaxed, encouraging and enjoyable - even the yarns and corny jokes add to the experience. It has not just been about learning to play an instrument, the balance between the technicalities of learning, playing and enjoying yourself (which after all is the whole point) is perfect. I have and will be thoroughly recommending this course to anyone interested in learning guitar and having fun whilst doing it! Look out Bryan Adams...!Paddy Dunleavey, Tuam
Learning was even easier than I had imagined – I could play all my favourite songs before the end of the course. My friends at school hate music lessons but I love practicing songs on my guitar every day!

Testimonials
Father & Son – My son asked me to take him to guitar lessons. So I decided to join him. Kevin's teaching style is brilliant, never once did he put you under pressure, and he constantly went back over previous issues covered. It's more than just guitar lessons...Kevin teaches you how to really listen to music. I found that it opened up other music styles that I never took the time to listen to before, and now I really enjoy. There are not many activities that a father (40) and a son (14) can share but Guitar Made Easy is one of them. Thanks for an interest we will share for many years to come.

Lost In Translation – I can fluently speak 2 languages, but I couldn't unlock the language of the guitar. At Guitar Made Easy I learned to read that language and use it to make music. I also researched tabs on the internet and got even better at some techniques such as fingerpicking. At Guitar Made Easy I learned to master the guitar in 12 weeks. Now I can fluently speak 3 languages.

Smelly Cat – I could set up a library with all the books I own about learning to play the guitar, promising to make me the next Sheryl Crowe. Studying these inside out was useless and so I resigned myself that I'd be more Phoebe (from Friends) then Sheryl. One fateful day I picked up a flyer and the rest is history. Walking into a room full of strangers was a little nerve wrecking, but I worried needlessly. Kevin was the most easygoing, witty and knowledgeable teacher ever. He promised we'd be able to play.. if we practiced for half an hour every day... Week 11 and I can play the guitar. Thanks Kevin!

This Old Guitar – That guitar of mine stood in the corner for many a year, gathering dust, out of tune and looking sad. Then one day I heard the catchy ad on Galway Bay FM for Guitar Made Easy and I decided to give it a go. Several weeks later I can do things with my guitar that I would never have dreamed of or thought possible and I understand an awful lot more about music and singing now, so hopefully with time and practise I will continue to improve. The Winner Takes It All – My Dad reckons that I start everything and finish nothing so when I arrived home with a flyer for Guitar Made Easy I had a big job on my hands to convince my Dad to give me €180.00 for guitar lessons. I eventually won him over but he didn't make it easy for me. He bet me €100.00 that I wouldn't stick it, so every time I start to get tired, I think of our bet. Now I can play the guitar, so I've won the bet. He says he'll spend the money on buying me a better guitar. Amy Ryan, guitarist, aged 10
Under Pressure – I came to Guitar Made Easy not being able to play a single chord on the guitar but now I can play at least 5 songs. I play the piano and the two things that bothered me was that I wasn't allowed to play all my favourite songs, and there were all these really stressful exams that I didn't enjoy. But with Guitar Made Easy there is none of that, it lets you really enjoy playing music without any pressure at all. I didn't regret a single minute. 10 out of 10. It was brilliant! Old Shep – Middle forties, guitar lessons, you must be mad – well maybe I am so I decided to try Guitar Made Easy. Group classes for beginners, he got that in a nutshell. All ages, well maybe I am young at heart! Results guaranteed? Well what can I say except – it's true, he taught an old dog new tricks. The best part is I enjoyed it because of the relaxed atmosphere, and he did make learning the guitar EASY! Kevin will give you the tools, the rest is up to you. Practise and enjoy! Never Mind The Strangers – Guitar Made Easy was a whirlwind tour of chords, strums, tuning, sore fingers, singing and fun in front of a variety of strangers all of whom thought learning to play guitar was going to be hard. It wasn't, thanks to an easy teaching style that threw information until some of it stuck. Well it has stuck and I've had a ball. James McHugh, Tuam
Nobody Does It Better – This was to be my fifth attempt at learning to play the guitar. I'm nothing if not stubborn. Two friends had just completed the course and they raved about the great fun they had, but more importantly – they could play! I signed up and left the first class feeling quite disillusioned, the tutor made it out to be so easy, but I was living proof that learning to play was hard. Sure enough, 4 weeks into it I had established a practise routine, and another 4 weeks later, I could play 6 somgs. The course tutor really knows how to teach people and how to encourage them, something my previous so-called guitar teachers could do with picking up on. Stephen Duane, Galway
